The whole idea of going back to school is really starting to sink in. I am enrolled and, providing everything with my financial aid goes through, will start classes on October 9th. Imagine... me... a college graduate. An Associate's Degree in Information Technology, pushing towards a Bachelor's.
In this whole adventure, I have discovered just how expensive school is. $14,000 just covers half of the accelerated online program. None of which the government is willing to provide me because my husband and I are both gainfully employed and "make too much money". Yeah, ok. So, I am having to go the student loan route. Which is okay, I suppose, but I really like the idea of free money. : P I guess I'll be paying off student loans for the rest of my natural life but hey, at least I'll have an education, right? I'm trying to think positive.
My first course is supposed to be Business & Society (BUS105) and will begin, as I said, on October 9th and end on November 12th. On November 12th I will start Fundementals of Marketing (MKT255) and take that course until December 17th. So, the concept is pretty awesome. One class at a time. With it being accelerated and all, I'm not sure I could handle much more than one class. : P
Tomorrow I will find out for sure what the verdict is. I hope everything goes smoothly. This is something I have been wanting to do for the past several years I just haven't had the means (or the motivation).
Wish me luck?
